A great place for heart wedding favors online!
Sunday, June 14th, 2009I’m so glad I bought a wedding journal and planner to help me with keeping track of everything I need to do for our hearts wedding. There is just so much to deal with when planning a wedding ceremony and reception. Guest lists, decorations, bridal accessories and I needed to find the perfect heart wedding favors for everyone. Thanks to my planning book, all I have to do is check things off the list as I go. I started checking the web for online bridal shops and found quite a bit in the way of accessories, decorations and a very nice wedding favor heart selection as thank you gifts for our guests. I even found the invitations that I wanted to mail out.
Inviting people, of course, was just the first phase, so I went right from that onto setting up the overall look and feel of the wedding, and then gathering together the supplies and accessories to make it work. On each of the pews I had big red velvet bows with ribbon strung from one pew to the next. At the altar were candelabras and our beautiful unity candle with the heart of little roses on the front. We used red roses all over the wedding ceremony, like in my bouquet, where they were mixed with pink roses, and throughout the church. I even went as far as to have caged doves to be released as we exited the church.
Everyone had their wedding attire taken care of, including our little flower girl and ring boy. As a flower girl basket, I decided to go with a gorgeous white satin with lovely lace and satin bows on each side. The rings also had a white satin ribbon on them, with a white pillow that had a gold double hearts insignia on it for our ring bearer. My bridal tiara was a pretty good match for the one that I picked out for the flower girl to wear in the ceremony. With her lovely pink flower girl skirt and her crown, I felt that she could have passed for a princess, especially when she did such a graceful job in the wedding. With his tiny tuxedo and red boutonniere, the ring bearer boy did as good of a job and he looked just as adorable. When he walked, he didn’t get out of sync with everyone else, and he bore the rings in distinguished fashion. I was very glad that I chose to include both of them.
For our wedding reception I had centerpieces made up of red, white and pink roses with little valentine hearts arranged in with the flowers. We placed two wedding candles on each table in order to create the ambiance of romance that I wanted to achieve, and they were accompanied by the what I considered to be the best place card holders available. I picked out small silver bells with handles in the form of a heart to give each of our guests as a present that would be a memento of our wedding. Our wedding cake was decorated with little hearts all around the bottom layer and little tiny pink and red roses trimmed each layer. There was a porcelain wedding cake topper, colored white, that fit in with our hearts wedding cake and the rest of our cake adornments beautifully.
The hearts and flowers that saturated our wedding made it the very definition of what a love-filled, Valentine’s Day wedding should be. I’m just glad I had the internet to turn to, it made everything so much easier.
I Found Some Amazing Bridal Accessories!
Friday, June 5th, 2009As soon as we set our wedding date, I got busy with my planning and shopping for everything I needed. I’m a dedicated online shopper and so, of course, that’s the first place I went to find what I needed. I’m glad I did too, with all they had to offer there was no problem finding everything I needed to plan the perfect wedding and reception. From invitations to fantastic wedding favors gifts for our guests, they had it all.
We had no problem choosing the theme we wanted for our wedding and reception, it had to be a beach theme. We’ve always lived near the water, even as kids and it has been a favorite place of ours and our friends for years.
So, I took care of the mailing out of all the invitations and started shopping for my bridal accessories. This online shopping site I found had wedding supplies as gorgeous as the ones you find in bridal fashion magazines, only with a much lower price tag. There was everything available from decorative aisle runners for the church to gorgeous bridal hair accessories to add a special elegance to the bride’s ensemble.
Great selection of fashionable accessories and the low cost really made this shopping worth while. I ordered some things for our honeymoon too. Even though we were getting married on the beach, I insisted on a floor length wedding dress. My bridesmaids and flower girl wore knee length satin dresses with spaghetti straps to help keep them cool and comfortable. Everyone of them looked stunning and my flower girl was so adorable.
There were torches around the reception area and the dance floor was lit up with little white lights we had strung around. The reception tables had been decorated in an oceanside motif and the little sailboat place card holders was a great addition. I didn’t want to give our guests some useless wedding favor that would be stuck in a drawer and forgotten, so we gave them beach themed picture frames as thank you gifts. I think the picture frames I chose were to their liking.
On the bride and groom table were our toasting flutes, lovely candles in their beach theme holders and lots of lovely tealights. All the supplies and accessories for our wedding reception was decorated in an oceanside motif, and so was our cake topper. We had a cake topper of a young couple holding each other as they walked along the beach. With all the items and bridal accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. There was so much seafood, such as lobsters, crabs and shrimp and we also had plenty of chicken and steaks for the non seafood eaters. Everyone danced, ate and just had a fantastic time. I kinda hated to leave the party for our honeymoon, everyone was having such a great time.
The first thing I had to do when we came home from our honeymoon was get out my wedding guest book I bought online and make out all the thank you notes for the people that shared our wedding day with us. My beach themed picture album has all the memories within its beautiful covers for me to enjoy anytime I want to look back on our special beach wedding and reception.
Unique Key Chain Favors!
Thursday, June 4th, 2009I was never big of a fan of keychain favors because they always seemed kind of chinsy, but then I went on the Internet to see what was out there just for fun. They may not cost a lot, but some of them are very unique in style. Before seeing the unique concepts for key chain party favors, I had never considered giving them out. Some of the artwork on them depicted various wedding or honeymoon scenes, travel desinations, or scenes in nature. We decided to get these very useful key chain party favors which I liked because they doubled as tape measures. Those can really come in handy. I also liked the engagement ring key chain favors, with a small rhinestone studded band. Can you believe that there are this many cool keychain options out there? They also have a unique favor keychain for bridal and baby shower parties.
The website I went to had a lot more than that. They had a wonderful selection of supplies and decorations for weddings and receptions as well. We found an eye-catching cake topper to go with the magnificent wedding cake we’d picked out. Our initials were embossed in silver in the cake topper and surrounded by tiny shimmering crystals that gave the cake topper a radiant glow. The handles of the cake serving utensils that we picked out had designs made to look like the bride and groom’s wedding day gown and tux. Our wedding table was very elegant with all the lovely shiny crystal champagne flutes and wine glasses and our reception tables were exquisite too. Everyone had champagne toasting flutes to go with the china I chose and the fantastic place card holders I found online. The place card holders had a rather novel look to them. They had darling little daisies in a tiny little pot and the place card fits on top of one of the daisy petals.
The splendid food and salad choices and desserts that our caterers put together for us left us blown away. The musical performers we got for our reception were an awesome choice, too. My man knows some people, and he managed to bring in about the most talented group in our locale. They knew any song that anyone asked for, and they knew it well. They played our song so beautifully that dancing our first dance together was one of the most magical moments of the night. They got some business out of it, too: someone at the wedding hired the band right then and there to come to his boy’s engagement party and perform there sometime next month.
It really, truly was the most perfect wedding and the most perfect reception that I could have ever imagined. We shot video of the wedding ceremony and our first dance as newlyweds, the photographer took all kinds of photos as well. The two memory books I got will be more than filled up with all of the pictures we took that day. For our living room, I picked out a special album to put on the coffee table, too. The frame on it is a silvery metal, and it has a pair of darling little hearts on it that just look exquisite. Oh, and then I got a photo album for our honeymoon pictures as well, since I knew that Cancun would have plenty of opportunites for taking great photos. I was quite ready for us to take all kinds of pictures during this special period in our lives.
Having all of my relatives and other loved ones watch my man and I say our vows together was unforgetably romantic. I will hang on to the many pictures and souvenirs that I have from our wedding day, forever. And the honeymoon was pretty unforgettable, all by itself.

She was right, they had everything from wedding invitations to wedding favors and none of it was really expensive. I was surprised at the great selection they have to offer, as well as so many styles of wedding accessories for both ceremonies and receptions. Needless to say, that’s where I did all my shopping for the wedding decorations and supplies.
First of all, we decided to have a winter wonderland theme wedding since we were getting married in December, and I found so much to work with. First I ordered winter wonderland wedding bulletins to use as our wedding invitations. I lucked out when looking for my flower basket and ring pillow because I found a five piece wedding set that had both, plus a guestbook and pen set, and a nice leg garter to go along with it. Not only did each piece match, but the price was more than reasonable. I read about how now that a lot of churches don’t allow petals to be thrown at the bride and groom at the ceremony, that many couples are having the guests blow bubbles instead. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
You should see all the accessories I was able to get for our reception. We also ordered our gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl, ring boy and the rest of the wedding party. After we cut the cake and had our toast done by my super brother in law, it was time for our bride and groom dance. With all eyes on us as we danced, I felt as magical as a princess in a fairy tale.
This reception was perfect, from the beginning to the end and all of our guests truly seemed to be enjoying themselves. The wedding groomsmen gifts and the bridesmaids gifts were a big hit. Many of the guests at the reception commented on how lovely the winter wedding reception was and how much they appreciated the lovely wedding favors.
