Best Mikasa Crystal Wedding!

I went to a wedding last week where they had mikasa crystal accessories on all of the reception tables. They had mikasa weddings and mikasa crystal glassware on every reception table. What excellent taste the bride has in decorating a wedding and reception tables. The mikasa accessories she had really added sparkle and elegance to her already beautiful table settings.
They had little silver doves as the place card holders, and on the end of their tails were little place cards with a bride and groom printed on them. Her centerpieces were quite lovely too and really helped to bring out the ambience of all the accessories she had decorated the tables with. The exquisite pillar candles she had for her centerpieces were so lovely with the floral ring around them. They also chose very impressive thank you gifts for all of the guests. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. They chose lovely little gift boxes with hang tags that said thank you to package our gorgeous mikasa crystal favors in.
Five layers of chocolate heaven with chocolate flavored cream cheese on each and every layer was the choice of wedding cakes they had. She topped the wedding cake with a very exceptional wedding cake topper. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. They make figurines that look just like the bride and groom for the topper and all it takes is sending them a couple head shots of the happy couple. It looked just like them. My mom and dad are having a renewal ceremony for their anniversary, and I’d like to find out where she ordered that cake topper from so I could get one made for their reception party.
One of the highlights of the evening was when the bride gave up her garter for the toss. Seeing all those men as their excitement grew when the garter was being removed by the groom. As the garter flew through the air, they were all falling into each other as they tried desperately to grab it up. What was really funny was that the winner of the garter toss was talked into participating by the other guys and he was a widower in his 70’s. There was a big smile on the old mans face as he walked off with the garter in his hand.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. After the toast it was time for the bride and groom to take their place on the dance floor for their first dance together as husband and wife. They made such an elegant couple as they danced across the dance floor. When the bride and grooms dance was finished, everyone joined them for the next song. I think I over extended myself on the dance floor, my feet ached so badly.
Finally it was time for the bride and groom to depart for their honeymoon, and we all said our good byes. One of the other guests told me they were honeymooning in Hawaii. Looks like their honeymoon will be just as fabulous as their wedding was. The rest of us partied until we couldn’t party no more.
A couple of weeks later, I received a thank you note from the bride and groom for the wedding gift and for attending. She really got to these thank you’s quickly. I did manage to get the information on the website that she ordered everything for the mikasa wedding favor from and the unique wedding cake topper too. I’m ordering what I need for my parents anniversary wedding party today.
