We picked January for the wedding day since I have always wanted a wedding that had a winter motif. More than enough products are available to help fulfill any bride’s wish for a wedding with a winter genre. Our reception hall called to mind a scene of freshly-fallen snow in the middle of winter. Our three tiered wedding cake sat on a unique little sled designed cake stand and had a topper that was a porcelain snowflake to complete our winter wedding cake. Our cake serving set was also a winter themed accessory I found while shopping online. The handles had little snowflakes done in white and wintry blue colors. Perfect for our themed reception and the handles matched with the winter wedding guestbook and pen I picked out.
The handles on the personalized toasting flute matched the sign in book and cake serving set we had, all with winter designs. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. Our reception guests loved the place card holders and other gifts that they received, and the look of the tables was to die for. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. Our ring bearer was excited because he got his own tee shirt and a yo-yo made of stainless steel. I got tank tops with crystals spelling out the word bridesmaid on them for all of my girls, plus I got my maid of honor a crystal bracelet besides. My new husband decided to handle buying the groomsmen’s gifts. For his groomsmen, he has ordered digital portable clocks and for his best man, a nice novelty pen desk set and best man mug. I could tell that all of our friends and family were having a fantastic time at the reception and they all seemed to like the little favors and gifts we bought for them.
Everything at our wedding and reception was fantastic and I owe it all to the wonderful selection of accessories and supplies I found online. By finding deals on the web, we were able to come in under our budget. I not only found things for our wedding, but they also had items I could use on our honeymoon. We found a shirt and hats that said ‘Bride’ and ‘Groom’ on them, and a pillow to hang outside our door indicating that we did not wish to be bothered. The decorative little pillow really came in handy.

Monday, November 30th, 2009When it came to the flower girl baskets, ring bearer pillows and reception supplies, I took my mom’s advice and went shopping online. I just placed my order and they delivered them, and it sure was better than running from store to store. They even had the type of invitations I was looking for, and a lot of discounted items to choose from too. Our invitations weren’t the only thing I saved money on, I also saved on other accessories too. I found a lot of my accessories for my bridesmaids, flower girl at a great price and there were unique ring bearer pillow wedding ideas to work with too. I was amazed at all the different styles of ring pillows.
There were gorgeous table decorations available.Along with the glassware I added beautiful candles to make each table setting as elegant as possible. My favorite item I purchased was our cake topper. The cake topper was the most exquisite part of our wedding cake. It really was an especially beautiful cake topper with a lovely butterfly and a satin bow.
I got so many compliments on my décor and wedding favor gifts. I got so many thank you’s from our guests for their gifts. But you know what else was so great about this place, they have a lot more than cake toppers and a ring bearer pillow. There are ideas and selections for all parties, including showers, birthday and girls night out parties. I didn’t know it at the time, but I found out that’s where my sister got all of her party supplies and party favors for my bridal shower she threw for me. She said mom had told her about it too.
I’m planning on giving my sister a baby shower next month and I know exactly where I’m getting the party supplies and cake topper. I’m pretty sure on the items I’ve checked out so far, and plan to order them some time next week. That’s when she finds out if she is having a girl or boy. Even though there are a lot of neutral colors I could use, I’d rather try to have the décor and supplies in a boy or girl theme.
My mother’s suggestion on shopping by computer really helped out a lot in terms of time and money. Filling out our thank you cards and working out all the reception arrangements was another thing I’m grateful for my mom doing for me. You’re really a life saver mom. This is one way of shopping that will come in handy for our anniversary someday. There are great little suggestions for anniversaries, even decorations, cake toppers and little thank you gifts. There were some very excellent selections for mom and dad’s 30th anniversary. Me and my sister should look at the possibilities together. Their 30th isn’t that far away, no use waiting until the last minute.

Monday, November 30th, 2009After it was decided that we were going to have a beach wedding, I went shopping for accessories and supplies with a beach theme in mind. The first thing to get was the invitations for our beach themed wedding. I made sure I had plenty of extra invitations, just in case I had to rewrite some of them, and it’s a good thing I did. With the invitations all done and on their way to our prospective guests, I could move on to picking out the beach wedding dress I wanted for our ceremony. I looked at several dresses and gorgeous full length gowns, but really couldn’t make up my mind. I fell in love with two of the floor length gowns, but wasn’t quite sure if it would be uncomfortable to wear to a beach wedding. I found a beautiful beaded knee length dress made of light weight materials of satin and lace, with spaghetti straps for my wedding.
My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. My fiance’s wedding attire consisted of a blue shirt and white pants made of linen, and his groomsmen were also dressed in linen, with white shirts and sandy colored pants. The little ring boy wore a white cotton shirt and khaki shorts, and our flower girl was so cute in a light fabric sundress. All of the wedding party looked great in their wedding attire and the flower arrangements for our bouquets were the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen.
I kept thinking how I should have bought two albums for wedding, because I wanted lots of pictures of our wonderful beach wedding and reception. I planned to have pictures of all the fantastic decorations at our wedding and reception and photos of every guest that attended. I especially wanted photos of us taking our vows under the beautiful flowered arch and satin canopy we had put up. When the ceremony was over, my new husband and I went to our hotel room to change into some more comfortable beach outfits. In fact a few of the bridesmaids and groomsmen also left to change, while others just wore swim suits under their wedding attire. The guests were informed on the invitations to wear casual clothing.
Our reception was such a big success, and everyone complimented us on our gorgeous wedding accessories and how lovely all of our tables were. I bought everything for our tables at the same place I bought our lovely beach themed wedding album. The place card holders I chose were these miniature beach chairs that can later be used as photo frames. I really liked them and I’m sure our guests did too. They also had beach wedding favors that I just had to have for our guests. I chose adorable tea lights that looked just like sand castles to remind them of our beach party. There was so many terrific accessories and beach décor for our reception tables and our wedding table. Not only did I find the perfect wedding cake topper, but I also bought their beach themed crystal flutes, wine glasses, cake serving set and so much more.
Some of the guests were commenting on the gorgeous décor of our reception tables. Adding to the oceanside atmosphere were lots of gel candles I bought from them to put on our reception tables, and a few tiki torches were placed around the area. Planning this beach wedding and reception was a lot easier than I thought it would be, with all the accessories and supplies they had. The beautiful ocean whitecaps and the warm sandy beach made the perfect dream wedding and reception location.
Now I can look through our special beach leather wedding photo album and enjoy that day once again.
Choosing the Right the wedding album!

First things first, I bought our beach themed wedding invitations. One thing I discovered was to be sure you always buy extra invitations, just in case you make a mistake and have yourself a do over, like I did. Now that the invitations were in the mail, it was time to find my beautiful beach wedding dress. With all the selections of beautiful beach dresses and wedding gowns, I had a difficult time deciding what I wanted to wear. The full length bridal gowns were so beautiful, but I was afraid they may be too uncomfortable for a beach wedding. So, even though I loved the gowns, I chose a lightweight knee length beaded satin dress with a gorgeous lace covering and spaghetti straps.
My bridesmaids looked so lovely in their haltered beach dresses of cool linen with a crocheted bodice. The other things on our wedding table went perfectly with them, and they were designed with a wintery blue and white look with snowflakes mixed in. The people who attended our reception liked the presents and place card holders they brought home with them, and the banquet hall looked just gorgeous. The mini tiara our flower girl wore was hers to keep, and we got her a necklace besides, which she was very pleased about. We got a ring boy tee shirt and a stainless steel yo-yo for our ring bearer, and he thought that was really neat. I got my maid of honor a bracelet made of crystal, and all of my bridesmaids received tank tops with their names written on them in small crystals. The men’s presents were handled by my groom. For his groomsmen, he has ordered digital portable clocks and for his best man, a nice novelty pen desk set and best man mug. I think everyone was really happy with the thank you favors they received and I think they all had a great time at the reception.
