When my best friend informed me of a online shopping store for wedding accessories and supplies that could save us a little on the wedding expenses, I thought I’d give it a try. She spoke the truth, everything from wedding invitations to exquisite little thank you gifts for the guests that could save us quite a bit. They even carry super groomsmen gifts and bridesmaids gifts along with all the other fantastic wedding items they have to offer. Of course, my wedding décor and the supplies I would need, I intended to buy there.
December was the month we planned on for our wedding date and I was determined to have a winter wonderland wedding, and with all the accessories they have to offer, I knew I’d have everything I needed to make it work. When I went searching for my flower girls basket and the ring boys pillow I found a wedding set that not only had both those things but also, a guestbook, pen set and a lovely wedding garter too. I thought it would cost a lot more than it did for the matching five piece set. I know, after reading a few wedding articles, that many churches won’t allow the tossing of petals for the bride and grooms departure and many couples have chosen bubbles to be blown as they exit the ceremony. So I checked out this online shopping site and found bottles of bubbles with lovely little bubble cards to go with them for our ceremony.
You’d be surprised at the marvelous accessories I bought from there. We also ordered our gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl, ring boy and the rest of the wedding party. With all the cheap groomsmen gifts that my fiance had to choose from, it was hard for him to make up his mind.
The groomsman favors of his choosing were glass mugs that had the word groomsman printed on the mug. Since the groomsmen gift idea and the rest of the people in our wedding was taken care of, I could shop for favors for our friends and family. I had quite a selection of winter themed gifts to pick from for our guests at the reception. I decided on these really beautiful winter frosted glass votive candles for our friends and family as their thank you gifts. Each candle had nice little silver snowflakes around it. Every candle was packaged in a decorative favor box with a silver hang tag on them.
The little snow ball ornament place card holders I bought make great little thank you gifts too. There was so much for a beautiful winter wonderland themed wedding, like our cake server set, our champagne flutes and even our funny wedding cake topper. Our topper was of a bride and groom skiing and I had the top layer of our cake made into a mountain of snow for the happy couple to placed upon. The cake really turned out nice and I made sure there were lots of pictures of it for my gorgeous winter wonderland wedding album. Right after we took care of the cake cutting, and my brother in law toasted us, we stepped out on the dance floor for our first dance together as husband and wife. This was like a dream come true, dancing around the room with my new husband as everyone watched.
Everyone was having a fantastic time and this reception was perfection from beginning to end. The wedding groomsmen gifts and the bridesmaids gifts were a big hit. Many of the guests at the reception commented on how lovely the winter wedding reception was and how much they appreciated the lovely wedding favors.
